COVID-19 RESOURCES

We are working hard to give you access to the resources being made available to local businesses as soon as possible.  We will be actively updating this list.

Show Me Strong Recovery Plan:  This plan provides guidance for businesses, communities, and citizens during the gradual re-opening of Missouri’s economy.

Economy Recovery Dashboard: Tracks metrics across multiple categories impacting businesses, communities, and cities.

Return Strong:  This program is focused on two main objectives: helping Missourians skill up and get back to work, and safely and responsibly reopening Missouri’s public workforce system.

Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Loan:  A loan the helps businesses keep their workforce employed during the COVID-19 crisis.  A percent of the loan, currently 75%, will be forgiven if all employees are kept on the payroll for eight weeks and the money is used for payroll, rent, mortgage interest, or utilities.

SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loans:  An SBA laon program that provides small businesses and nonprofits with working capital of up to $2 million.  Those that apply for a loan can also apply for an advance of up to $10,000.  At this time, only agricultural business applications will be accepted due to limitations on funding availability and the unprecedent submission of applications already received.

Macon County Landfill Fee Loan Program:  A loan program through the Industrial Development Authority of the County of Macon Missouri and administered through Macon County Economic Development to assist businesses located in Macon County.  Please contact our office, 660-385-5627, for more information.

IRS Employee Retention Credit:  A refundable tax credit against certain employment taxes equal to 50 percent of the qualified wages an eligible employer pays.

SBA Debt Relief:  Provides relief to small businesses with non-disaster SBA loans.  Contact your SBA lender for more information.

Missouri Shared Work Program:  This program is an alternative to layoffs for employers faced with a reduction in available work.  It allows an employer to divide the available work among a specified group of affected employees instead of a layoff.

Missouri PPE Marketplace:  This tool connects vendors and Missouri health care providers directly with one another to buy and sell PPE.
