Macon R-1 is our largest school district, located in the City of Macon, our county seat. Our school services over 1,500 students in one convenient campus and is AAA rated, the highest educational rating in Missouri. Over 55% of our district’s graduates participate in some type of continued education, reflecting on our commitment to education.
Macon R-1 High School also offers classes in a variety of specialized skills at the Macon Area Career and Technical Education Center and is near many of the finest public and private universities, colleges and junior colleges in the Midwest.
